Abstract

Dr. Ridge is a brilliant, solitary, infertility specialist practicing in Gardona, Arizona.  He provides  invitro fertilization (IVF) for his patients. Two factors:  the transportation of embryos to be frozen and stored at Omega Cryogenics and pre-implantation testing provided at his lab, Ridge Genetics, Inc., present opportunities for his research on stem cells. His main research focus is extracting cells from frozen embryos without effecting the embryos. His ambition is to save lives by using the extracted cells for all kinds of treatments, and also save the embryos. In his quest to save lives, he compromises his ethical principles, leading to dire consequences and a cover-up.
